Very in-depth Bible study tool for everyone!

I use this book as a tool to prepare for our in-home Bible studies. This book has really helped me to grow in my faith and gain knowledge about the Bible. The commentary by David Guzik is a true “verse-by-verse” commentary. Unlike the other commentaries in the market where the author only provides a short paragraph of explanation for one verse or a few verses all together, David focuses on each verse and each sentence individually and provides you a lot of information and good insight about the passage.
If you are looking for an in-depth and true verse-by-verse commentary, this is the one.

I now have all of David Guzik's Commentarys on Kindle.....this is one of them. They are all verse by verse....easy to read....inciteful....while the comments are brief,they are not shallow....many deal with application....many others could be called devotional. Excellent for Teachers who want facts and direction without reading volumns of dialog ! Easy to navigate....
and the price is pretty nice as well !! David is a guy you'll find yourself Quoting to your class....and adding to your own store of knowledge of all the Scriptures. Give him a try....I believe you'll be glad you did !

Small Letters - Big Impact

David brings in the aspects of both history and theology in his writings. I love how he is balanced in his personal commentary approach, along with input from other commentators, as well as the explanation of both the Jewish mind set and nuances and the Greek syntax -- all of this is often very helpful in bringing a deeper meaning into the passage. Guzik's commentaries are easy to read and understand, while adding depth to personal, as well as ministry study.
