Q.You are very prolific. What’s your secret for getting so much work done?


A. My secret is consistency. Every day, I sit in front of my laptop and I write. I may only write 200 words (on a bad day) or 3000 words (on a good day) but there is never a day that goes by when I don’t write.


Q. Who are some of your favorite authors?


A. I fell in love with reading at the age of fourteen. I started the series Flowers in the Attic by V.C. Andrews. That series sparked this insatiable need to read more. Over time, I’ve read and enjoyed books by: Nora Roberts, Stephen King, James Patterson, Sandra Brown, Jude Deveraux, And many more.


Q. Are there any new authors that have grasped your interest?


A. With the increase of indie authors, there are gems everywhere. I’ve enjoyed books like The Body Departed by J.R. Rain and Divergent by Veronica Roth. I recently read The Edge to Never by J.A. Redmerski.


Q. From the looks of it, you have five series and several standalone books in different genres and you’re branching out into horror. Which genre do you enjoy the most?


A. So far, I’ve written in Romance, Mystery thrillers, Sci-Fi, Urban Paranormal, and supernatural horror. Each genre has fulfilled my need to dabble in categories across the board. I don’t have a favorite genre. I thrive in the elements of the story and the characters. I do have to admit, I love the adrenaline rush of writing a fast-paced fight scene.

A heartwarming story about family

Heartwarming and heartfelt, this is a finely prepared drama, mixed with a dash of adventure and a pinch of suspense. A mother gathers her family to together on Christmas for the purposes of revealing a secret she has kept for two years. A group of brothers brave the elements to rescue a man stranded out in a blizzard. And then things get worse, when they run into some very bad men. Meanwhile, back at the cabin, the women and the other brother must face a force of nature covered in fur, with hunger in its eyes... The Mancinis must meet all of these adversities, digging deep within themselves to find the strength to rise above and come together in a tale full of twists and turns, which reminds you that Christmas is about caring.

The Book:
Isabelle plans a special Christmas and rents a cabin in the mountains. Her second plan is an announcement to the entire family.

A blizzard strikes and the Mancini brother seek to find a guest and bring him back to the cabin. They must survive the fierce storm.
My Thoughts:
Action nearly on every page. I enjoyed how the story is presented. The first scene – a blizzard and danger. Then we go back several hours to the cabin in anticipation of a big moment, only to return to the elements. And just when I thought it was going to be a normal Christmas celebration – boom.
I have enjoyed every book that April has written in this series. The Mancinis are an interesting family and this final book in the series caps it all off in great style.

Though the content is very less, the author has managed to deliver what is expected out of it. This is not a book about marketing. And this ...

This is not a book about marketing. And this is definitely not a practical guide.

The author either doesn't have the knowledge of how the concepts he mentions should be implemented, or simply doesn't want to make an effort and share them.

Marketing is about having people take action to hire your services. Not about the general ideas discussed in this book.

I know I need a website,I want to know how to design a website that converts.

I know I need a marketing plan, but I need a solid plan that tells me what to do, not asks me whether I know my goals, swot analysis and why I did what I do.

I want an execution plan.

I don't see one executable marketing strategy in this book.

The only takeaway I got was about pricing and a few other things.

I know I bought this for 3$ , but I'm surprised by how little value about marketing this book has in it.

I'm sorry kiran but your book shouldn't have been named "marketing for architects". A guideline for architects would be a more honest title.

Delightful

I found this book after some research for one of my reading challenges. It is wonderful! I am not sure what I expected - it is a memoir of a young Iranian girl, transplanted to the US prior to the revolution, her life and her family's life from then until now as a married mother, a writer. It is really a collection of vignettes of her extended family (which is huge!) and her parents. It is warm and delightful. And VERY funny! I love her sense of humor. And I love the knowledge and the gentle shouldering that she has so wisely imparted in her funny way. I highly recommend reading this

Good summer read

Parts of this book are laugh-out-loud, tears-in-your-eyes funny. It's worth reading as a painless and not at all pedantic introduction to a culture that most Americans knew little or nothing about until the Iranian hostage crisis, and then our scope was limited to the ayatollahs. The sobering thought comes upon reflection of how different the immigrant experience has become. There is a lot of insight under the humor but it's not patronizing to either Iranians or Americans.

Funny in Any Language!

This book is about an Iranian American family, but the warmth and humor make it about everyone's families. We all have that make family member who thinks he can fix anything. If you're lucky, you might even have two: one to do the fixing, the other to criticize and say, "You should have used duct tape." Sit back, relax, and laugh out loud. Repeat until finished, which won't take long. :)

WONDERFUL

THE BOOK IS THE SECOND SAGA IN A SERIES OF THREE. I ENJOY THE BOOK, BUT IT CROSSES OVER FAMILES AND EVENTS IN EVERY CHAPTER. MAKES IT CHALLENGING TO KEEP UP WITH THE HISTORY AND EVENTS OF EVERYONE IN THE BOOK. I DID HOWEVER LOVE THE STORY OF THE TRADITIONS AND CHARACTERS OF THE OLD SOUTH AND THE INVENTIVE FORWARD THINKING OF THE NORTH DURING THAT ERA. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS. I LIKE IT VERY MUCH. THE SHIPMENT CAME AS EXPECTED AND THE BOOK IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION.

I thoroughly enjoy Gilbert Morris' books. They are both interesting and exciting. I like the way he includes personal salvation experiences for his characters. I own all 40 volumes of the Winslow family by Gilbert Morris as will as all of Three of the Appomattox Saga Collection books 1-10. I started several of these books late at night an finished them in the wee hours of morning because they are compelling adventure books.

Appomattox Saga

Awe inspiring and historically accurate. A true snapshot of a war wherein both sides felt they were serving God and yet both had opposite opinions about freedom and slavery. This novel makes one rethink attitudes of prejudice and why the North, altlhough prejudiced against the AfricanAmerican yet the South was indeed of varied opinions of the value of a human being. Some southerners loved their slaves and others had the NAZI mentality. Makes one question the sense of war wherein one group of human beings justifies killing another group without complete knowledge and putting the "cause" above the value of human life. I believe this may be why Jesus did not take sides against the persecuting Romans but rather the His country's religious elite.
