Just What She Wants
Indiana or Indie for short, just got tricked into a vacation to the states. Her best friend knew she needed to get away. Her last boyfriend had hurt her (emotionally) and Christmas time just brings back everything full force. So when she realizes she is going alone, she almost decides to turn back around and just go home. It is hard to turn away a all inclusive resort though. When she gets to the resort, she realizes that it is more than what she has ever thought. When she meets 2 attractive men, she wonders if maybe this resort may offer her a chance of a lifetime. Kyle and Marc have been together for a while. One had been seriously hurt in a accident that killed someone near and dear to them. But while one is hesitant , the other wants to have what they have talked about for years a third in their relationship. When they see Indie, they think, she just may fit the bill.
This was a very good menage. You get a laugh about her name but the author does a really good job about how much pain all of the characters are in (emotionally and physically). None of them know it yet but they are truly meant to be. Great sex scenes, good story! Worth the read, I would read this author again!

Indiana Jones (yes, that’s her name), also known as Indie, is visiting Orlando for the vacation of a lifetime. She’d expected to travel with her best friend, Lisa, but when she arrived at her hotel found out Lisa had tricked her. Lisa had set up Indie’s time at Heden, a clothes-optional, anything goes resort, to help her avoid the depression that would otherwise accompany Indie’s Christmas.
Heden is run by Marc and Kyle. They are lovers, but each is interested in finding a third to balance out their needs. While Marc likes to hit on every woman he sees, Kyle is much more selective since a mysterious accident that changed his life. Indie, however, attracts the attention of both men.
I liked all three characters. Indie wanted to cut loose, but was afraid to take the step. Kyle had been traumatized and was afraid to open up. Marc was in love with Kyle and is frustrated that Kyle either doesn’t or won’t return his affection. Each story is good in itself, but put together, it seemed to be a bit too much in the limited pages. Balancing emotion and sex between three people can be a difficult task. In this case, the sex is steamy and all three are a perfect physical fit. The emotion, however, is lacking.
We’re introduced to the relationship between Marc and Kyle, but I felt something (beyond a woman) was lacking between them. Marc’s head was turned immediately by Indie, and it almost seemed he ditched Kyle to chase after her. Meanwhile, Kyle had a hidden secret, keeping him from opening himself fully, that he would not share with Marc. It made me feel the two really didn’t belong together or that they weren’t very close because those are the types of things shared between lovers. Kyle felt comfortable sharing with Indie, however. Why open up to a virtual stranger but not your lover?
After being initially afraid of her risqué environment, Indie opened very quickly and expressed her desire to participate in a ménage with both Marc and Kyle. Hiding a secret herself, she finally opened up to them and explained her resentment of the Christmas holiday. Although things were resolved, it felt like perhaps they were resolved a little too easily.
When it comes to a love story, this one doesn’t quite get there, but if you’re looking for a hot sex story, this will absolutely hit the spot.

JUST WHAT SHE WANTS is a different type of 1Night Stand than I'm used to, and that's a good thing. The arranging for this one night stand was done sort of behind the scenes and the main characters were not aware of the setup. That was refreshing in reading this series and got major points with me!
That being said, this is my first time reading this author and I've been wanting to try her for a while. Even though short stories can be hard to convey a realistic connection, I think this novella does a pretty good job at it.
We have Kyle and Marc who are a couple but have been looking for a woman to complete their lives. They are both in charge of running a pleasure resort in Orlando, FL. Kyle has gone through a troubled past, the death of a loved one, an accident that left him crippled and also closed off his emotions.
Then in comes Indiana Jones from London, ready to have a wild and adventurous vacation. Ha! Yeah, I'm not kidding about the name. Indie has a great personality and is just a tad naive but knows when to jump on an opportunity when it's presented.
The story was great and the sex of course was very sexy, however I think I could've done with more of the getting to know each other that we just didn't have time for because it's a short story.
Nevertheless, this is one hot and spicy novella, sure to warm up your evening or lunch hour.
