Sort of disappointing - not much of a plot

I have read a number of Mr. Young's books and he sometimes has a tendency to concentrate on educating and skips the actual story. Still, his books make decent reading. This book was less enjoyable and the ending was anticlimactic. Not sure if this was an early work or if he is just cranking out too many books too quickly.

too much detail

I just finished reading several of Mr. Young's books because I enjoyed the story lines. However I found that he writes so heavily into the detail of every article of clothing, backpack, weapon, vehicle, knife etc that it eventually caused me to skip over those parts. When I realized this I stopped reading his books as the over abundance of detail to these items took the pleasure out of reading the story.

A totally different scenario than any other I have read. Jerry handles this one in fine style as usual. The end is not terribly believable but then neither is the scenario. Another good on nun the less.
