“This was an irreverent look at the afterlife and the adventures of Dylan as he tries to navigate his way through the agendas and politics of the various parties in Eden and elsewhere to try and have another chance at life. Oh and of course rescue his sister too!

I really enjoyed this book

Yeah sure it was a cheap ploy to use Terry Pratchetts name to get our attention, but I'm largely prepared to forgive the transgression as otherwise I might not have found this book... and to be fair it was "inspired by" Terry Pratchett, so who am I to judge where someone gets their inspiration from. I really enjoyed this book. Read it on its own merit and you might just find you enjoy it too.
But a note to Leigh: if I hadn't been able to read a free sample before purchasing I would definitely have passed this by, so you might want to rethink your titles. Your work is good enough to not have to lean on other big names.

Shouldn't be compared to Sir Pratchett

It was an okay read, but it wasn't even close to a Terry Pratchett or Douglas Adams level of writing.. Also when reading the description for one of Leigh Barker's other novels, the description is for the SAME book, but different title- what's up with that? I'm glad I got this one as a freebie, because I would not have bothered otherwise. Altogether, a resounding meh.

Misleading advertising

I was searching for the Kindle version of Terry Pratchett's The Last Hero and this came up. I downloaded a sample but won't be buying. Advertising this as in the tradition of Pratchett does neither the author nor Pratchett any favours. Lame mash-up. If you don't have a Kindle version of The Last Hero, just say so
